PREPARING
Unzip the enclosed comp.c into your EDuke source directory.

COMPILING THE EDUKE SOURCE
Open up MS-DOS PROMPT and run "DRIVE:\DIR\wmake.exe". Drive= your hard drive letter; DIR= the directory where you unzipped the source code. When you see that it has created a DOS program, open up the folder where the source code is and there you have it... duke3d.exe!

RUNNING EDUKE
I HIGHLY suggest you read this. Whenever you run EDuke, you must do the following:
First, run the executable with this parameter:

/xeduke.con

This compiles the cons into a MHS file to be used. For anytime following this, run the game with the parameter:

/z

This turns off memory check for those with really awful computers (like mine, for instance!).
