Secrets

Level 1 (Seppuku Station)
(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) Go down the stairs to the small storage area at the end of the hall. Jump up onto the ledge below the window to the small office. Instead of going through the window, run and jump across to the opposite window. There is a small room on the other side, containing some weapons/ammo. You'll hear the sounds of someone being beaten... on the TV is the kid that got caned in Singapore some years back (Michael Fay, I think his name is).

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the room with the soup stand and vending machines, there's a wall of lockers. Open the lockers on the far right end to get a fortune cookie.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the lounge/boarding area, there are some more lockers. Hit the 3rd one from the left, then run around the dividing wall. A door will open to reveal one of those dynamite-carrying guys, some Shurikens, and kevlar armor.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the pachinko parlor, there is one small, apparently broken machine standing in a corner. Hit it, then turn around. The kiosk on the opposite wall lowers, revealing a fortune cookie.

(submitted by Bill Sammons)In the dojo at the very start of Level 1, look through the locked doors and throw a shuriken at the gong on the far wall. A panel will open revealing a nuclear warhead and some shurikens.

(submitted by Mike Miller) After you go through the door requiring the gold key, there is a door to the right that leads to the Koi pond. Without going through that door, push along that wall towards the corner. You see the secret area open up. Shoot the trash can so it moves over to directly below the secret opening and use it to climb up to the secret area.

Level 2 (Zilla Construction)
(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) Just outside the powerplant door (which requires the blue access card), there is a funny-looking pile of boxes. Hit them to get health and ammo.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) Drive the forklift to the opposite end of the open area; you'll see a pile of crates with stuff on top. This pile is normally inaccessible. Take the forklift as close to it as possible, then jump up on top of the forklift's uprights. You can run and jump from there onto the crates, where there's a nuke and some other cool stuff.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the main construction office, there's an air vent. Break it, then follow the shaft to its end. You'll find a fortune cookie, and a fan which will chop the living you-know-what out of you if you get too close.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) Also in the construction office, there's a portrait on the wall. Open it, then hit the switch inside. Turn around, and you'll see an opening in the opposite wall.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) Past the forklift is an area with lots-o-baddies, a buttload of crates, and a lift. Jump up on the crates, then across to the lift. Turn around and you'll see a very small riser, with some caltrops on top.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the operations area, to the left of the final (gold key) door, there is a small control panel. Open it for a fortune cookie.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the power plant, immediately after you enter, you'll see two walls on either side of the ramp. Jump on the one to the left, then run and jump across the open area. Open the control panel for a grenade launcher and a gas bomb.

Level 3 (Master Leep's Temple)
(submitted by Andrew Pitt) The first secret in this level is pretty obvious. When you walk into the first room, you will notice a little nook in the middle wall with the title, "Master Leep's Throne". Launch a rocket in there or throw in a stickey mine and it will blow out the ceiling. Jump through the ceiling and you are in a special little room.

(submitted by Andrew Pitt) Another secret is in the level with the lava pit where the guy is lowered into the lava. You will notice a few boxes in the corner near the water. climb them and open the picture on the wall.

(submitted by Andrew Pitt) The next secret is just on the other side of this rooms wall. Swim under the wall and out into the open. Jump up on the concrete and up on top of the water fall. Go under water here. This is a secret and also leads to another secret.

(submitted by Andrew Pitt) If you have done the above correctly, you will be under water and you will see a switch on the other side of a grate. Shoot the switch and jump out of the water. Go through the large doors and take a sharp right. Climb up the boxes and you will find an opening in the wall.

(submitted by Andrew Pitt) Next, go to the room with the large lava pit with the rotating pillar in the middle. Jump on the pillar. You will notice a switch on one of the walls out of your reach. There is a ledge directly opposite that switch. Jump on that ledge and shoot the switch and turn around. A section of the wall behind you is now open.

(submitted by Andrew Pitt) After the large lava pit, you will begin to climb a rock ledge. Right near the beginning of the ledge you will see a bunny which looks like he is comitting suicide, actually, it is just going down to meet his friends. Follow the bunny off the cliff and you will fall for quite a while then land in a pond. This is a short-cut to Master Leep.

(submitted by Andrew Pitt) The next secret is in just after the room with the lowering ceiling. Shoot the panel so that you don't get squished and proceed to the room with the switches. Now go back to the panel and jump into it to reveal a secret.

(submitted by Andrew Pitt) After you have correctly activated the switches around the pool and the door in the water has opened, go back to the room with the collapsing ceiling again and a door should have opened up.

Level 4 (Dark Woods of the Serpent)
(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) Go to the temple (with the sign saying Do Not Enter). Look up on the wall to the right of the door; you'll see an explosive crack. Blow it and jump in. You'll see a pull-chain to your left. Pull it to stop the buddhas from breathing fire. At the end of this tunnel is another crack, which you can blow to open a hole into the temple. As an added bonus, there's a nuke in here.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the peasant village, there is a building with 3 open sides, white paper walls, and a brown structure in the middle. Beside this structure are some rocks. Jump on the rocks, then through the pictures on the sides of the structure.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) Get into the house with the tank berm in front, then through the transporter into the jungle-like area. Get into the river and wade towards the leftmost wall. Duck down and swim for a bit. You'll surface into a scene very familiar to Monty Python fans.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) At the other end of the river is a gorilla-heavy area. Once you've disposed of them, go all the way to the end of the river. You'll see an alcove with a fortune cookie.

(submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick) In the area with the three columns which you move to get across a VERY long drop, look west and down while standing on the middle column. You'll see a small lighted area containing a nuke and a transporter back in front of the columns. The fall hurts like hell, so don't try it unless you have lots-o-health. You'll need to move the yellow column to get there.

Bonus area (submitted by Coinneach Fitzpatrick): In the deep canyon (which requires a magic-carpet ride to access), keep riding until you're over the far ledges, then jump off. Keep walking towards the back. You'll see a gong; hit this to receive a medical kit. Look to your left, and you'll see 3 explosive barrels. Back way the hell off, and blow them. You'll see an anime version of Lara Croft, in a cell, chained to the wall. Wang says, "Heh. She'll raid no more tombs!" No secret credit, just a cool little easter egg.
